Block Prints
A relief Print Series, images of Maya Artists and Artisans of Guatemala. Printed in editions of 150, this set of ten black and white wood and linoleum cut prints show artists and artisans pursuing their traditional arts as they have done for millenia, using clay, various fibers, leather, metal and other materials.
Two 5″x7″ sets are available:
Maya Children of Guatemala: Learning and Doing Traditional Arts, a five card set of duotone reproductions of photographs and Honor the Traditional Maya Artists of Guatemala, a six card set of two color reproductions of block prints.
Maya Artisans of Guatemala: Since the early seventies, Marilyn Anderson has taken many photos of Maya artisans such as the two examples below.
